PEERS® Social Skills Group for Pre-Employment/Transition
Enrollment is limited to 8 participants per group. Group instruction is provided in English. Regular attendance is imperative.
Groups begin every 16 weeks, and enrollment is ongoing. Group placement is determined by clinician at intake appointment based on group dynamics.

- Complete and return your enrollment packet.
- Our team will verify your insurance benefits, ensure you or your teen/young adult is a good fit for this program, and schedule a phone call to discuss scheduling and next steps.
Dates and Availability
- Duration: 16 weeks
- Planned Days: Once per week for 90-minutes. Days will be chosen based on group availability received in the initial enrollment packet.
- Planned Terms: Offered Year Round
Where do groups take place?
Our PEERS® Groups are offered through secure, HIPAA-compliant Zoom sessions, ensuring privacy and safety while fostering meaningful connections. These interactive groups provide a supportive environment to practice essential social skills such as communication, cooperation, and emotional regulation—all from the comfort of home.
Led by experienced professionals, each session is engaging, developmentally appropriate, and tailored to meet the unique needs of participants. Whether working on conversation skills, or building friendships, our virtual groups help teens develop confidence and thrive socially in a safe, virtual setting.

Costs
We are in-network with Virginia Medicaid, Commercial Plans, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). We also offer flexible private pay options for those seeking personalized care outside of insurance coverage.
